Dissertation Artworks
My current mixed media works function as part of my dissertation’s inquiry about the role of assessment in a high school art program. These images use material-discursive artmaking to inform data analysis and theory generation. They explore materiality, visual repertoires, and the interplay of symbolic and embodied forms of representation, bringing together image and text, abstraction and representation, to illuminate how theory and practice intra-act.
